The Disopede
This is a project I made in my second year (2021) at Umeå school of architecture.
The Disopede is a machine constructed for you to experience the city in a different way.
When it comes to disabilities, we never talk about the complexity of it. Just because it cant be seen, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

My initial thought with the project where to create something that can persuade people to think more about the invisible parts of the built space. But as further the project developed, i realized that change can only happen naturally if people are not forced to do it.
